Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre has a growing list of registered programs to meet your needs. Attend one of the programs led by our experienced and professional staff and realize your potential!
Fit Kids: A Multi-Sport program offered to 6-12 year olds who are in the “Fundamentals” and “Learn to Train” Stages of the Long Term Athlete Development Model. Fit Kids get the chance to experience and develop as many Fundamental Movement Skills as possible by engaging in various sports and activities available at the Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre, including but not limited to the Gym, Turf, Ice, Gymnastics Facility and Martial Arts Centre. Karate: All of the Cochrane Martial Arts Karate classes have been added to the Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre’s program offerings. You can now register through SLSFSC! $40/ month for kids, $70/ month for adults.
Mad Science: MAD SCIENCE SUMMER CAMPS ARE COMING TO SLSFSC IN 2012!!!!!
WHEN: July 9 - 13 & August 6 - 10, 2012.
Blast off into outer space with programs developed by Mad Science and NASA!! Explore space, build & keep your own Mad Science Skyblazer Rocket and participate in a NASA-style rocket launch! Find out how cool robots are & then build and keep your own solar powered Monkey-Bot that can traverse along a rope in the summer sun. Let the fun continue with exploration & discovery into Freaky Flyers, Optical Illusions, Mad Machines & way more!!! Cool Mad Science take home projects are included each day including a super cool Eco-rider that harnesses the wind power to operate. Hurry!!! only 24 spots available in each camp. $345 plus gst. For children age 6 - 12.
