  9:15 AM 10:15 AM Drop-in Yoga Drop-in Hatha Yoga Large Program Room Hatha: This class combines physical postures with breath awareness while entering, holding and exiting the poses in a meditative manner. Students will develop strength, flexibility, balance and calmness while exploring a variety of postures in a mixed-level environment.
  9:30 AM 10:10 AM Drop-in Heavy Bag Blaster Drop-in Heavy Bag Blaster Martial Arts Studio This class is similar to Heavy Bag Fitness, but completed in just 40 minutes so it’s great for those of you with jam packed schedules! Between plyometrics and instruction in basic Muai Thai/Kickboxing skills, participants learn to hit the heavy bag in this challenging and fast paced class. All skill levels welcome. Please bring your own gloves. We do have two pairs of loaners if it’s your first time trying the class. Hand wraps are required if borrowing our gloves (sold for $8.50 at Guest Services).

  1:00 PM 1:45 PM Movement Class April 3- June 30 2017 Registered Program Martial Arts Studio The goal of our training is to counteract as much as possible the manifestations of Parkinson’s Disease such as rigidity, contractures, bradykinesia, postural instability, decreased trunk rotation, loss of movement and balance disturbances through the use of exercise and movement training.
  4:30 PM 5:30 PM Drop-in Youth Bootcamp Drop-in Youth Bootcamp Martial Arts Studio Geared to get kids active and have fun while doing it. Class will be different every week.
Set up for the same time as the afternoon boot camp, I ‘m hoping more parents will drop their kids off, and jump in to the adult class set up during the same time.

Classes will focus on proper breathing methods to cleanse, strengthen and tap into your internal health using elements from Judo, Ju-Jutsu and Kung Fu.

In this class we will target all the aspects of your core making a strong base of support for all your daily activities. We will target, your abdominals, lower back, hips and the glutes in every class using a few different pieces of equipment, stability balls disk and of course your own body weight.

  6:15 AM 7:00 AM Drop-in Muscle Pump Drop-in Muscle Pump Large Program Room This class is a high-energy, total-body workout that focuses on every muscle group at an intensity that will simultaneously improve both your strength and endurance while increasing lean muscle mass. This class incorporates a variety of exercises and equipment with Metabolic Resistance Training method. Increasing lean muscle mass will help you to burn calories even when you are not working out so it’s ideal for healthy weight control.

This is a high intensity workout that focuses on defining your muscles, improving overall cardiovascular health and burning major calories in the process.

We will work the most common problem areas through a series of strategic exercises that focus on core strength, flexibility and balance. Our certified Barre instructor will incorporate innovative moves that will fatigue muscles through isometric holds.

  12:10 PM 1:00 PM Drop-In Tabata Mix Drop-In Tabata Mix Large Program Room Tabata training is a type of high intensity interval training that follows a specific format 20 seconds of a very high intensity exercises (e.g., sprints), 10 seconds of rest . Repeat 8 times for a total of 4 minutes. Tabata athletes and participants will notice an improvement in their body's ability to use oxygen more effectively, which translated into improved performance for your competition/sport/ fitness level or daily functions. High intensity interval training with a rest period shorter than the work period can target both our anaerobic, the system responsible for short, high intensity exercise, such as sprints and our aerobic energy systems, used for endurance exercise such as long, slow running.

  6:00 PM 7:00 PM Drop-in Yoga Drop-in Candlelight Yoga Large Program Room This practice is designed for all levels and beginners alike. With the emphasis on longer, static holds, there is less flow-based movement and more depth in each asana. The teacher will guide you through a combination of standing, seated and lying postures that will challenge balance, strength and flexibility.

All fitness levels are encouraged to participate as the workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe appeals to men and women!

This class will be held on track and the spin room. We will find a balance between resistance training and cardio exercises and have fun in a group setting. You will get pushed hard, we hope to steer you towards to the elite group.

Describes more than two dozen abdominals, lower back and hip muscles that stabilize your spine to keep your torso upright. Your core muscles also allow your torso bend forward, back, side to side as well as rotate. Your core is critical in everything you do, except perhaps while you’re sleeping. We will focus on all the muscles that make your core strong.
