Vision The Society has an appointed board of directors that meet regularly to oversee the short and long-term affairs of the Society. The current focus of the Society is on completing the Phase 3 expansion, which will include two new ice surfaces and other necessary additions to the facility. To date, the Phase 1&2 constructions have taken place, and Phase 3 is nearing completion. The Society is beginning to consider future projects and long-term strategies for the park, including development of the 26-acre site where the Centre currently stands. There is potential for outdoor playing fields, ball diamonds, river access and space for public gatherings plus the continued growth and expansion of the present sports centre building. In addition, the Society is looking to develop Green initiatives to increase the sustainability of the facilities for future expansions and community use.
